A Simple and Immediately Operational ToolKit to Succeed in 5S Your Pilot Site

Preliminary remark :

5S-ToolKit is designed mainly for forming small workshop or office teams (5 to 9 persons).
It is also possible to use it to train just one person in a workshop or in an office.

5S-ToolKit is a training-action product.
The objective is to follow the competences obtained through the progress actions, that provide the expected results.

AL-Consulting is a training organism, approved under the number 23-27-01156-27 (France).

All the documents are saved as PDF and Powerpoint files and sent directly to your e-mail address after receiving your order.

These documents are the same (and the most recent version) as the ones that the AL-Consulting consultants use during their missions to implement the 5S to our Clients.

  The Participant file

  The 40 slides of presentation (see extract) to give each person a deep knowledge of the 5S :

  • What are the 5S ?
  • What are the objectives of the 5S ?
  • How to implement the 5S ?
  These pages are illustrated with photos of examples of the best 5S practices.
  
  These documents will be presented through a projector (slides) or video-projections to the members of the Board of Directors and of the 5S Group.

  • • The scheme of the full behavior process (Plan Do Check Act) of the 5S project:
    • • the scope is to offer a global vision of the project and a good perception of the importance of each stage of the PDCA for the success of the pilot site.
      • The 11 stages to follow for the 5S Project Responsible:
    • • it is a guide that details step by step the action of the 5S Project Responsible.
      • this document is by itself a standard that will possibly be improved for the generalization stage of the 5S.
    • The leader's guide :
      
      • it gives the chronological course of each of the elementary sequences of the training-action, the purpose of each sequence, the necessary documents.
      • this guide is the insurance of the quality of the training, it guarantees the rhythm and the transmission of all the necessary messages for the complete comprehension of the 5S.
    • The model of Communication board (see an extract) :
      
      • the 6 boards in this table are to be displayed in the pilot area of the site.
      • it is an essential communication tool. It is accessible to all, to use in the Group and to follow the results of the site.
    • The ensemble of operational forms :
      
      • the quotation sheets for the workshop and the office, the validation of stages, the audit of the action, field applications.
      • these documents are the necessary operational tools for the efficient implementation of the 5S.
      • they are distributed to the group members at the moment of the field applications and to follow the good course of the action.
    • The educational game of the 5S :
      
      • during the training, this game illustrates the importance of each S and the order in which they must be applied.
      • of brief duration (20 min) it creates a favorable ambiance and reinforces the collective motivation.
    • The red label model :
      
      • for the application of the 1st S (Elimination phase), this label includes two parts and some labels, that facilitate the decision making and the follow-up of the actions concerning the objects observed during the field applications.

    • contains behavior rules to be validated with the Group.
    • is an important help for the trainer for receiving and regulating exchanges.

    • A difficulty, a question, an explanation of a successful practice, this forum in French will be for you a source of information available 24h/24 in order to help you implement the 5S.
